The ability to resist rounding AND the ability to go into and out of a rounded position are valuable abilities for the lower back.

The seated goodmorning allows you to improve your inner thigh flexibility while increasing your lower back’s strength in resistance to rounding, and it progresses from assisted to bodyweight to loaded.

The seated back extension allows you to train your flexibility to round, as well as your strength to come out of a rounded position.

It also progresses from assisted to bodyweight to loaded.

A back extension machine is one of our most highly recommended equipment tools because it allows you to gently and simply start exercising your backside with smooth progression of these abilities.

And the seated back extension is helpful to know so you have a solution without a back extension machine.

For knee and lower back health I think there’s something powerful about being capable FROM your body’s most compact positions. ATG Mobility Series 1–3 gives you a workable basis to improve this.
