ATG Weekly Newsletter: June 10, 2022
To recap last week’s long-form YouTube breakdown in a way that’s easy to remember, here’s how I’m applying the 2% Rule of Progress to Dense Strength:
-1kg per side per successful week on squats
-.5kg per side per successful week on single-leg and upper body
This week’s long-form video is “Bulletproofing Reserve.” This may be my all-time favorite exercise concept because it explains how the code has been cracked on making athletic breakthroughs and preventing injury — from pro athletes to grandparents.
I’ve continued doing a new form video each day for ATG members, looking for every possible way to make exercises more user friendly and quicker to learn. Considering how many videos I’ve put out publicly on the Back Extension, here’s the smoothest progression I’ve found yet in terms of scaling comfortably from top to bottom: Back Extension Form Update
We now have over 100 certified ATG Coaches around the world through atgforcoaches.com. My longest-term ATG Coach, Marcel Betancourt, began a new video series specifically for the certification process. He’s doing videos on the 12 toughest ATG forms and their targets for certification. You get certified by mastering these 12 for yourself and one other person, thus forcing you to experience it yourself and experience coaching someone else. Level 1 requires perfect form. Level 2 requires an adequate level of ability. Each video breaks down into 4 segments:
- Regressions
- Level 1 Form Qualifications
- Level 2 Strength Qualifications
- Freak Checklist Number
You can see Marcel’s first video by clicking here. Very well done and thank you, brother!

Framed certs even began sending out today. Coaches, I hope you like them! Much deserved.
And as always, to do the ATG programs online, go to atgonlinecoaching.com and feel free to ask any questions before starting. There is no long-term contract. We provide form-coaching and feedback in less than 24 hours, 7 days a week, including rapid customer service led by my amazing mother.
Hope you had a great week!
Yours in Solutions,
Ben
PS. The most common question is where to get the unusual equipment we use, so I keep a list up-to-date with links and discounts I’ve obtained for you: The ATG Equipment List. This week I added a discount for the adjustable NuoBell dumbbells I’ve been using in my new home gym. They adjust so smoothly from 5 to 80. Love em!
